In terms of financial incentives, the tournament offers a purse of $1.5 million USD, with specific allocations of $200,000 for the winner, $150,000 for second place, and $100,000 for third place. Matches begin each day at approximately 10 a.m. ET, giving fans early access to all the action.
The tournament's format has specific rounds: the first round will see the initial 60 players compete in an 18-hole stroke play, with the top 20 advancing to Round 2. "Scores will be reset and players will compete in 18-hole stroke play. Top 20 and ties advance to the weekend," shared an official from LIV Golf Promotions.
Saturday will mark the beginning of a 36-hole shootout, where scores are reset again, with the final 18 holes determining the top three players. A playoff may be necessary to break any ties for the leading positions. This sequence keeps the competition fierce and maintains interest until the last stroke.
For viewers, Round 2 will be broadcast on FS2, while Round 3 shifts to FS1, with changes back to FS2 later in the day. Round 4 will also be available on FS1. The LIV Golf app provides free live streaming coverage throughout the event, catering to fans eager to follow the action.
As the competition brings together 78 players from 24 different countries, it showcases a diversity of talent. The United States leads the representation with 12 players, followed closely by Australia with 11. Other countries, including South Korea, Thailand, and England, are also well represented.

"35 players are in their 20s, 40 players in their 30s, and 5 in their 40s," noted a league official, indicating a blend of youth and experience. Notably, Spain's Pablo Ereno is the youngest player at 22, while 45-year-old Matt Jones from Australia is the eldest competitor.
Among the players, 13 have previously participated in LIV Golf events. A notable figure is former Ryder Cup participant Anthony Kim, who expressed his aspirations stating, "I’m hopeful of earning full-time status for 2026 through this Promotions tournament." Kim's recent performance at the PIF Saudi International, where he placed T5, is significant as he aims to regain his footing in the professional game.
Moreover, players like Jones and Ben Campbell, who both finished in the Open Zone during the last LIV Golf season, are trying to secure their spots for 2026.
