The achievement marks a career milestone for the 52-year-old Majesticks Golf Club co-captain, who has struggled to find his top form since joining the breakaway series.
"Really proud," said Westwood following his impressive showing. "It's a while since I've been in the final group when it's meant something."
The result carries additional significance given Westwood's recent injury struggles. This marked only his second tournament appearance of the season after battling back from a wrist injury that had sidelined him from competitive action.
While Westwood excelled individually, his Majesticks teammates faced more challenging conditions throughout the Singapore event. Laurie Canter managed a tie for 42nd place at two-over par, while co-captain Ian Poulter finished tied for 47th at three-over.
The mixed individual performances translated to a 12th-place team finish at 13-over par for Majesticks Golf Club, highlighting the challenging nature of the Singapore layout.
Westwood's resurgent form comes at an opportune time as the LIV Golf season builds momentum. His ability to contend in the final group demonstrates that his competitive fire remains strong despite entering his sixth decade.

The LIV Golf tour continues its busy schedule with the next stop in South Africa. Players will compete at The Club at Steyn City from March 19-22, representing the third and final event in a demanding three-week tripleheader.
