In an impressive display of skill, Stewart Cink captured his first Senior PGA Championship title with a remarkable final round of 9-under 63, finishing six shots ahead of the competition in Bradenton, Florida. This victory marks his third win of the season on the PGA Tour Champions, as he demonstrated his prowess with a tremendous stretch of golf that left the rest of the field behind.
Entering the final round at Concession Golf Club just one shot off the lead, Cink made his move quickly. He began his onslaught with an eagle on the par-5 seventh hole, setting the tone for an exceptional front nine that concluded with back-to-back birdies, allowing him to take control of the tournament.
Cink's dominance continued on the back nine, highlighted by a stunning 35-foot birdie putt on the par-3 11th that exhibited perfect speed and accuracy. He followed this with a birdie on the par-5 13th and another on the 14th with an impressive 18-foot effort. With such a strong five-hole stretch where he went 5-under par, it became increasingly clear that the battle for the top spot had been settled.

Ben Crane finished his tournament with a solid 68, enough to secure second place in his Senior PGA Championship debut. Meanwhile, Keith Horne, who had started the day with the lead, struggled to maintain his pace, falling behind after a double bogey on the par-4 12th.
Cink has established himself consistently strong in his appearances this season, as he remains without a single over-par round in his 16 events on the PGA Tour Champions. Alongside his three victories, he also has one runner-up finish, with his lowest performance being a tie for sixth.
He concluded the championship at an impressive aggregate of 19-under 269, just shy of the tournament record of 20-under set by Sam Snead in 1973 at PGA National.

Tying for third place were Australian golfers Scott Hend and Steve Allan, both of whom closed out their rounds with 71.
Stewart Cink's performance in this championship not only showcased his talent but solidified his status as a formidable competitor on the senior circuit. As golf fans look forward to upcoming tournaments, Cink's consistent form will undoubtedly make him a player to watch.
